2.5 HOUR COURSE

Heartsaver CPR AED card issued by the American Heart Association, featuring the HeartSaver logo and certification information.

Heartsaver CPR AED is geared for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

WHO QUALIFIES?

WHAT DOES THIS COURSE TEACH?

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

  • The AHA Chain of Survival

  • Important early use of an AED

  • Effective ventilations using a barrier device

  • Importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR

  • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants

WHO QUALIFIES?

The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. This course is perfect for outdoor groups, church groups, sports clubs and more.

The AHA Heartsaver First Aid Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. This standalone First Aid course is designed to equip participants with practical, hands-on knowledge to respond confidently to a variety of medical emergencies. Unlike basic CPR classes, this course dives deeper into essential first aid skills including bleeding control, wound care, splinting, burns, allergic reactions, heat and cold emergencies, and more. Ideal for individuals, workplaces, or community groups who want to be better prepared to handle real-life situations before EMS arrives.
